The
artist.
Well,
the artist, it's me.
At the moment (2006, May) I'm 28, live in a big and very old
house in the countryside, in northern Italy; have a boyfriend
(who lives far away for now), a horse (nearer), 4 chinchillas
(very near) and 2 fishes (in my bedroom, that is also where
I'm writing from). In the house there also are my sister, my
parents, 6 cats and 1 dog. It's a crowded place.
I went to a scientific high school, then, during the last part
of the 4th year (of five) I realized that nothing I was studying
there was what I'd like to do in my life.
Not hat I regret attending that school, it was really a good
thing in order to get some culture and had an idea of the chances
around, but the subjects of my study weren't going to be my
job.
So,
after the high school, I spent a summer preparing for the entrance
test, and successfully entered the Fine art academy of Brera,
in Milan, choosing the course of Decoration (no, I didn't want
to be a decorator, but it was the only thing half way between
Painting and Sculpting). The fine art academy was great for
getting the concept of "being an artist", but wasn't
very good for learning new tecniques, probably because it's
supposed that before going there, you already went to an artistic
high school.
Anyway, I had to invent a lot, bought lots of books and did
experiments!
The
art.
Basically,
I'd say that I'm a sculptor. Better: a maker of 3d things. With
all the materials, styles and tecniques that can come into my
mind.
But.. I paint more than I sculpt, and I draw more than I paint,
because time is so little in this world and I mainly have to
work on things that earn me money. Sigh.
I'm always trying to find the time to work on my 3d things,
besides all the rest.

Apart my art and my job, that is making sceneries, costumes

I like plants and pets, I like to cook, to make websites, to
write, to role-play, to read, to learn things, to take pictures,
to run role-play campaigns, etc. etc. Fantasy and drow are my
addictions!
